Horacio González Mullin

AIAF General Secretary

Horacio González Mullin is Partner of the Firm González Mullin, Kasprzyk & Asociados. He Practices the professions of Attorney at Law and Notary since 1989. He is graduate of the University of the Republic (UDELAR) and pratices in Civil Law, Commercial Law, Labour Law and Sports Law.

He is member of the Executive Committee of the Latin American Sports Law Association (ALADDE) based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is also member of the Executive Board of the International Association for Football Lawyers (AIAF) based in Paris, France, member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal dedicated to footbal law “Football Legal,” based in Cenon, France and Co-director of the journal “Revista Uruguaya de Derecho del Deporte” [Uruguayan Journal of Sports Law] – La Ley Uruguay.

Horacion is coordinator and Professor of Sports Law certification program at Universidad Católica del Uruguay and Coordinator and Professor of Sports Law courses read at such University. He is also Professor and member of the Honorary Advisory Committee of the “Cátedra Libre de Derecho Deportivo” [Sports Law Professorship] of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata de Argentina.

He published countless articles and papers on Sports Law, among which there is the book entitled “Manual Práctico de Derecho del Deporte – Con Especial atención al Derecho del Fútbol” [Practical Handbook on Sports Law – With particular emphasis on Football Law], published by Amalio Fernández Publishing house in its first Edition in 2012 and in its second updated edition in 2016 and, along with Felipe Vásquez, the publication “La implementación de las Regulaciones FIFA en Uruguay” [The implementation of the FIFA Regulations in Uruguay], a chapter which is part of the work “The FIFA regulations on working with intermediaries – Implementation at national Level,” Michele Colucci, SLPC.

Horacio is speaker at national and international Seminars and Conferences related to Sports Law.
